Hello, my name is Earl Theiss.  I am blessed and proud to be a ninth generation Texan and be able to present a web site devoted to giving persons insight and information on some of the natural resources of Texas.  Ways of observing and sampling them and the history of the state that has to do with all of the above topics and more.  The resources of Texas and its history are too big for me to put in this site.  There will be and is links to sites as you go through the pages of this site as it progresses. I am in the process as of March of 2012 in setting this site up.  So, please come back through and check out the new information and other items that I will be putting on this site as I learn how to do it.  I have many years of traveling around this great State and being in its big outdoors and want others to know about the rich history of the minerals, rocks, artifacts, mines and other outdoor interests associated with these topics.  If you have something that you know that you would like to add to this site that would be of like interest please email me at the email address below.  Or, if you would just like to talk to me about something of like interest email me and we can set up a phone call.  If you do not want it added to the site or want the information kept in confidence I can assure you it will be done as you want.  So, look through the pages and let me know what you think or maybe want by emailing me at etheiss@verizon.net.
